David Barrison graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from York University 2002. He then received his LL. B. from Osgoode Hall in 2005.
After his second year of law school, he worked as a summer student with a criminal defence firm in Toronto that specializes in cases concerning impaired driving. Following the completion of law school, David articled with criminal defense firm Pinkofskys, Canada’s largest criminal defense firm at that time.
After the completion of his articles, David went on to work in the Durham Region, where he maintained a criminal defence practice while also acting as a standing agent for the Public Prosecution Service of Canada, prosecuting drug and tax related offences. During this time he was able to amass a great deal of experience in dealing with search warrants, wiretap authorizations and the infringement of individuals’ rights under the Charter.
In April of 2012, David joined Farquharson, Adamson & Affleck to focus on his defence practice. He prides himself on providing excellent representation to his clients and ensuring they receive a proper defence.
